Bob McCormick, Chief Policy Officer of Glass Lewis, to join CamberView Partners

SAN FRANCISCO, Jan. 18, 2017 /PRNewswire/ -- CamberView Partners, LLC, the leading source of independent, investor-led advice for public companies on shareholder activism and engagement, announced that Bob McCormick will join the firm as a Partner in February. Mr. McCormick has served for over a decade as Chief Policy Officer of Glass Lewis, overseeing analysis, editing and voting recommendations of management and shareholder proposals at public companies. Prior to joining Glass Lewis, Mr. McCormick led proxy voting at Fidelity Management and Research.

In his role as Chief Policy Officer for Glass Lewis, Mr. McCormick leads the firm's engagement efforts with institutional investor clients, public companies and governmental and regulatory bodies. In addition, he oversees development of Glass Lewis's proxy voting guidelines which are the foundation of the analysis and voting recommendations in more than 20,000 research reports released annually, and has spearheaded development of comprehensive proxy voting guidelines for over 100 countries.

Previously, Mr. McCormick led the Investment Proxy Research department at Fidelity where he oversaw the proxy voting of 700 mutual funds and client accounts which held 5,000 securities worth $1 trillion.

He holds a Bachelor of Arts in History from Providence College, a Juris Doctor from Quinnipiac University and a Graduate Certificate of Special Studies in Administration and Management from Harvard University Extension School.
