Caldwell Partners Strengthens Financial Services Practice with the Addition of Richard Stein

TORONTO, March 17 /PRNewswire-FirstCall/ - Retained executive search firm Caldwell Partners (TSX: CWL) today announced a major enhancement to its recruiting capabilities in the financial services industry with the addition of Richard Stein as a Partner based in the company's New York office.

Mr. Stein has more than 25 years of experience recruiting in financial services, with particular expertise in areas such as global markets, private banking, wealth management, risk and compliance, consumer banking, technology and operations. He is known as a trusted advisor to leaders by focusing on metrics in a fiercely competitive world to challenge perceived wisdom and more accountability. He also has demonstrated expertise in major builds or realignment of businesses where clients need to build large teams quickly.

Prior to joining Caldwell Partners, Mr. Stein was senior partner of the North Atlantic at Global Sage, a boutique firm specializing in financial services search and leadership. While there, he built and ran the Americas and European arm of the Hong Kong-based firm, focusing the North American franchise on executive search, corporate intelligence and management assessment.

Previously, he was a senior client partner in the Capital Markets Practice at Korn/Ferry International. Before that, he founded Futures International, which later merged with the Whitney Group. His early career in executive search was spent at Diamond Associates and then Options Group.

Mr. Stein holds a bachelor's degree in history, politics and literature from the University of Buckingham and also attended the University Libre de Lille in France.
