Casio G-SHOCK Releases New Gravitymaster Timepiece Alongside Action-Packed Aviation Video
Gravitymaster film showcases timepiece in its element
DOVER, N.J., Nov. 18, 2014 /PRNewswire/ -- Casio America, Inc. is proud to announce the release of the G-SHOCK GA1000 Gravitymaster timepiece, alongside a thrilling aviation video.
The one-minute video showcases the timepiece in its finest element – on a test pilot's wrist, mid-flight. The sleek G-SHOCK GA1000 Gravitymaster, combines military mechanical taste with the toughness that G-SHOCK is known for.
Filmed at the Jet Warbird Training Center in Sante Fe, New Mexico, the film follows Justin Decio, a seasoned test pilot, from pre-flight to mid-flight. The film begins as the test pilot prepares for flight wearing his trusted G-SHOCK Gravitymaster. Our test pilot prepares his aircraft for take-off, showcasing the similarities between the cockpit controls and the Gravitymaster's dial layout. The timepiece is on full display as Justin soars through the sky.
The cockpit of an aircraft contains flight instruments and the controls enable the pilot to have full control. The instrument panel within the cockpit is designed to optimize pilot instrument scanning. Likewise, the GA1000's case and dial layout is similar in styling so that all controls are easily navigated and viewed.

About G-SHOCK
CASIO's shock-resistant G-SHOCK watch is synonymous with toughness, born from the developer Mr. Ibe's dream of 'creating a watch that never breaks'. Over 200 handmade samples were created and tested to destruction until finally in 1983 the first, now iconic G-SHOCK hit the streets of Japan and began to establish itself as 'the toughest watch of all time'. Each watch encompasses the 7 elements; electric shock resistance, gravity resistance, low temperature resistance, vibration resistance, water resistance, shock resistance and toughness. The watch is packed with Casio innovations and technologies to prevent it from suffering direct shock; this includes internal components protected with urethane and suspended timekeeping modules inside the watch structure. Since its launch, G-SHOCK has continued to evolve, continuing to support on Mr. Ibe's mantra "never, never give up".
