C&D Technologies Names Christian Rheault as President & CEO

BLUE BELL, Pa., Oct. 4, 2012 /PRNewswire/ -- C&D Technologies Inc., a global manufacturer of energy storage solutions, announced today that it has named Christian Rheault as President and Chief Executive Officer.

Treadwell , Chairman of C&D.   Mr. Treadwell served as interim CEO since May of 2012.

Mr. Rheault previously served as the Senior Vice President of Global Business Operations for Kulicke & Soffa Industries, Inc., a global leader in the design and manufacture of semiconductor and LED assembly equipment.  Prior to Kulicke & Soffa, Mr. Rheault held positions of increasing responsibility for ten years at IBM.
