"Fathers play an essential role in the stability and well-being of families and communities," says Rev. Larry Snyder, president of Catholic Charities USA. "On this Father's Day weekend, we honor their importance in our society and recognize all of the Catholic Charities programs that strengthen and enrich the vital capacity of fatherhood."

Catholic Charities USA and its nationwide member agencies have implemented a variety of social and educational programming to help fathers become more integral members of their families, local communities, and thus society at large.  Additionally, Catholic Charities USA helps foster a national dialogue about the importance fathers play in helping their children grow up in safe and supportive family environments.
