Christopher Titus Has a Solution in His New Special "Christopher Titus: Neverlution" the World Premiere Airs July 3 at 9:00 P.M. ET/PT on COMEDY CENTRAL®

NEW YORK, June 13, 2011 /PRNewswire/ -- Christopher Titus calls for a revolution to restore America to greatness and save it from slipping into "Neverlution."  The World Premiere of "Christopher Titus: Neverlution," debuts Sunday, July 3 at 9:00 p.m. ET/PT on COMEDY CENTRAL.

"Christopher Titus: "Neverlution" will be released by COMEDY CENTRAL Records as a double CD and digital album on Tuesday, June 28.  The CD and digital album are uncensored and include 90 minutes of material.

Filmed at The Escondido Arts Center in Escondido, California, Titus takes aim at the complacency and idiocy of today's America with the same energy and wit that made him the world-famous comedian he is today.  Opening the show with a quote from Thomas Jefferson, "Every generation needs a new revolution," he compares the great generations of the past with his own – "The Prozac Generation."  Titus rants and rails on coddling parents, obesity, fear mongering in the news, prescription medications and trophies for the losing team.

"Neverlution" is the fourth comedy special from the extremely prolific Titus and he is one of the few comics ever to have a 90-minute comedy special air on two different networks.  Titus has never shied away from any subject matter and in his first stand up show, "Norman Rockwell Is Bleeding," he destroyed the Hallmark card definition of family and brought it into a real place.  His first special to debut on COMEDY CENTRAL was "The 5th Annual End of the World Tour" which premiered in 2007 and debuted to rave reviews.  His second, "Love is Evol," premiered the following year and in true Titus form, he continuously lead the audience to a dark place and later yanked them out with uproarious laughter from tales of his personal life.  "Hard funny is what I go for," Titus says.
