BELLEVUE, Wash., Sept. 28 /PRNewswire/ -- Clarisonic announced today the expansion of its commitment to women's health and beauty through a partnership with Look Good…Feel Better®, a national public service program that helps women with breast and other cancers manage their treatment and recovery with renewed spirit and greater confidence. Through the program's free workshops, volunteer beauty professionals teach patients easy and effective techniques to help combat appearance-related side effects of their treatment. As part of its partnership, Clarisonic has made an initial donation of $100,000 to Look Good…Feel Better, launched a Facebook campaign to encourage fans to voice their support, committed proceeds from sales of its signature PINK line and designed a limited edition Clarisonic Hope Mia® Skin Cleansing System set to debut in October.

Clarisonic has inaugurated its relationship with Look Good…Feel Better by an initial contribution of $100,000. To make an even bigger impact, Clarisonic is announcing today a way for its Facebook fans to take beauty into their own hands by helping this inspirational and invaluable cause. The company is activating its current Facebook fans to encourage their friends to become a Clarisonic fan in honor of Look Good…Feel Better. To help usher in Breast Cancer Awareness Month in October, for every new fan Clarisonic will donate $1 to Look Good…Feel Better up to a maximum of $100,000.

Operated through a national network of more than 14,000 volunteer beauty industry professionals, Look Good…Feel Better's two-hour workshops empower women by teaching them how to overcome side effects of cancer treatment such as skin dryness and hair loss. The program also teaches techniques for makeup application and nail care, and offers tips for selecting and caring for wigs. There are nearly 14,500 free workshops held each year with 50,000 participants.

Clarisonic will donate all funds raised from its PINK campaign to the Look Good…Feel Better program with $5 from every Clarisonic PINK Classic and PLUS Skin Cleansing System purchased and $4 from every Clarisonic PINK Mia Skin Cleansing System sold.

Realizing the power Clarisonic has to bring attention to an important issue, the company has designed a special limited edition Clarisonic Hope Mia specifically to draw attention to Look Good…Feel Better. A $15 donation will be made to Look Good…Feel Better for each limited edition Clarisonic Hope Mia sold.
