Investment Increases Value for Consumers as Demand Grows for Wireless Data, 3G Multimedia and Internet Access

CLEVELAND, March 1 /PRNewswire/ -- Verizon Wireless, the wireless company with the largest 3G network, has added two new cell sites to its network in Cleveland, which enable more customers to use their wireless phones to send and receive email and text, picture and video messages; view high quality videos; access the Internet; and download music, games and ringtones.

The first new cell site near 105th Street and Interstate 90, improves 3G coverage and capacity in and around Bratenahl and in Cleveland as far east as Eddy Road, as far west as Martin Luther King Jr. Drive, as far north as Lake Erie and as far south as Parkgate Avenue.

The second new cell site, near West 65th Street and Detroit Avenue, improves 3G coverage and capacity as far east as West 28th Street (Fulton Road), as far west as West 85th Street, as far north as Lake Erie and as far south as Lorain Avenue (State Route 10).

These network improvements are part of Verizon Wireless' continual effort to expand coverage, improve capacity and enhance the quality of its wireless voice and data network in Ohio and throughout the country.
