Cloudnexa Announces Strategic Business Investments

PHILADELPHIA, Nov. 7, 2013 /PRNewswire/ -- Cloudnexa, an industry leading cloud managed services provider known for helping clients realize the full utility power of cloud computing, today announced several strategic business investments.  These investments include the completion of its first round of fundraising, the addition of two key members to its management team, and the acquisition of new corporate headquarters.

The company completed its first round of early stage fundraising, with $2.3M in investments coming into the business from several technology investors including Milestone Venture Partners, who acted as lead investor, Gabriel Investments and Ben Franklin Technology Partners.  "Cloudnexa has a compelling value proposition and business model in the fast growing cloud computing space, we believe they are extremely well positioned for growth as they capitalize on their core differentiation and deliver long term value to clients trying to realize the benefits of cloud computing," said Morgan Rodd, general partner of Milestone Venture Partners.

Also being announced is the addition of two new members to the executive management team.  Lisa Brown joins Cloudnexa as vice president of Marketing and Sales Operations.  Lisa was formerly with Active Power, a data center solutions provider, where she spent the last seven years leading their marketing and sales operations functions.  Also joining the team is Shaun Enright, Shaun takes on the role of vice president and general manager Public Sector leading the corporations' efforts in the government, education and non-profit markets.  Prior to joining Cloudnexa, Shaun was Director at CyberData Technologies where he led their SLED (state, local and education) division and Federal cloud solutions.
