ClubCorp Announces The Addition Of Oak Tree Country Club In Edmond, Oklahoma

DALLAS, May 29, 2013 /PRNewswire/ -- ClubCorp, The World Leader in Private Clubs, today announced the acquisition of Oak Tree Country Club, one of Oklahoma's premier private country clubs for families and golf enthusiasts. Located in Edmond, approximately 15 miles north of Oklahoma City, Oak Tree is the only private country club in the metro area featuring 36 holes of golf.

A multimillion-dollar capital improvement project is planned with extensive renovations and upgrades to the clubhouse – including expanding casual dining and the addition of an outdoor dining area – and improvements to the golf, tennis, pool and fitness areas.

Oak Tree also features a dramatic wood and stone 65,000-square-foot clubhouse with three levels of dining - the casual, family-friendly Trophy Lounge, the adult atmosphere 21 Club, and the Formal Dining Room – and includes a men's locker room and grill, ladies' locker room and grill, and golf pro shop.

In addition, the club has a 75,000-square-foot Sports Facility that includes six indoor tennis courts, six outdoor tennis courts, an indoor jogging track, fitness center, aerobics studio, racquetball court, basketball court, and additional locker rooms with saunas and whirlpools. Oak Tree also features an Olympic-size swimming pool and children's wading pool.
