Coastal Orthopedics Welcomes Pain Management Physician

BRADENTON, Fla., July 14 /PRNewswire/ -- Coastal Orthopedics & Sports Medicine/Pain Management is proud to welcome Abraham Rivera, MD to their Pain Management practice. Dr. Rivera is renowned for his specialty in Implantation of Spinal Cord Stimulators and Intraspinal Infusion Pumps. He has trained hundreds of physicians worldwide and lectures routinely around the world in regard to this unique modality of therapy.

Prior to joining Coastal, Dr. Rivera was a faculty member at Albany Medical Center in the Department of Anesthesiology in charge of training Anesthesiology residents in the field of pain management.  He later moved to Florida to become Chief Medical Director for a multimillion-dollar surgery center and pain management practice in Tampa.

Dr. Rivera completed his residency in Anesthesiology and Pain Management at Albany Medical Center in Albany, NY and completed his Doctorate in the country where he grew up, at the University of Puerto Rico.

Dr. Rivera, who is Spanish/English bilingual, will work out of the Coastal Orthopedics center located at 1219 East Ave. S, Suite 103, Sarasota, FL.
