CompuGroup Medical US Appoints Benedikt Brueckle As Chief Executive Officer

Brueckle has experienced significant success in helping companies achieve financial and product development success. Prior to joining CGM, he served as an international business consultant as well as an auditor for the accounting firm KPMG in both Germany and Luxembourg. He was also involved with The Red Cross in Italy after the devastating earthquakes as well as Lega del Filo d'Oro, which supports blind and deaf children. Brueckle joined CompuGroup Medical SE in 2010 as Head of Group Controlling in its Finance Unit. After two years, he became the General Manager of CGM's Italy market, where he led the company to be the market leader in both the general practitioner software business and pharmacy software, while also entering the dental software market for the company. Most recently, Brueckle served as SVP of Southern and Western Europe, where he oversaw operations in Italy, Spain, France, Belgium, Turkey and the Netherlands. He was also responsible for entering new markets and promoting a rapid growth in CGM's global pharmacy software business.

In his current role as CEO, Brueckle will be responsible for leading CGM US and its market-leading IT solutions that support the clinical and practice management activities that take place in physician practices, community health centers, hospitals and laboratories.
