M/I Homes of Charlotte is opening a new neighborhood. Brookvue, in Concord, N.C., will have about 250 homes. Prices are expected to start in the mid $200s. Buyers can choose from about 20 home plans, ranging from roughly 2,000 to more than 3,500 square feet. M/I Homes is opening a new residential neighborhood, Brookvue, located at Poplar Tent Road and Huntersville-Concord Road. M/I Homes intends to build approximately 250 homes on 175 acres the company recently acquired. Community development will begin in the fall. Prices have not been finalized but are expected to start in the mid $200s.

Brookvue will feature home plans from M/I's Traditional and Courtyard Collections, ranging from about 2,000 to more than 3,500 square feet. Ranch and two-story homes will be offered, including three to five bedrooms and two to three-and-a-half baths. Two and three car garages are expected to be available. Look for exteriors with stone and brick accents, front porches and covered lanais.

Schools serving the new community include W.R. Odell Elementary, Harris Middle and Cox Mill High School, all in Cabarrus County.

"Brookvue is in a booming location, near Concord Mills," says Tamara Lynch, M/I Homes of Charlotte vice president of sales and marketing.
