Consumer Data Industry Association Names Francis Creighton New President, CEO

WASHINGTON, April 14, 2017 /PRNewswire-USNewswire/ -- The Consumer Data Industry Association announced today that Francis Creighton has been named the association's new President and CEO, beginning May 15. Creighton currently serves as the Executive Vice President of Government Affairs at the Financial Services Roundtable where he leads a team advocating for the nation's leading financial services companies.

Creighton previously served in a number of senior roles on Capitol Hill and as the chief lobbyist of the Mortgage Bankers Association.

Creighton will succeed Eric J. Ellman, who has served as the interim president and CEO since September 2016. Ellman will resume his role as senior vice president for public policy and legal affairs at CDIA.
