Contest Finalist Kevin Dong Of Parkland, Florida Heading For China To Vie For $1 Million Prize For Innovation And Entrepreneurship In U.S. Automotive Industry
BOCA RATON, Fla., July 2, 2018 /PRNewswire/ -- Parkland, FL resident Kevin Dong, founder of ADX365, is among the top three percent of entrepreneurs who have won China's prestigious Innovation & Entrepreneurship Competition for Overseas Talents 2018 pitch competition.
The win earns Dong a free trip to Hangzhou, China this month to compete in the final round vying for $1 million prize.
"These are the best of the best innovative thinkers from China who are now living in the United States and other countries outside of China where they have developed the most innovative, revolutionary and disruptive solutions for industry and commerce," said TransMedia Group CEO Tom Madden whose international PR firm represents Dong and his company ADX365.
Dong has developed an APP that will revolutionize automotive auctions by eliminating the archaic and most costly aspects and procedures of such antiquated auctions, replacing them with an APP allowing auto dealers and eventually consumers to bid for cars themselves directly, said Madden.
Using his state-of-the-art digital technology and advanced video craft, Kevin's APP will put car auctions right into the consumer's living room with guarantees vehicles have passed rigorous inspection, thereby taking much of the guess work and risk out of traditional automotive auctions.
"The convenience and cost savings of Dong's innovation are simply spectacular," said Madden, whose award-winning firm represents many innovative companies, including TimiCoin.io in Texas where TransMedia recently opened another office in Dallas to keep up with its expanding business in the Southwest. Earlier this year at the Palm Beach International Boat Show TransMedia introduced Silent Yachts, the world's first fully solar-powered yacht.
Dong was born in China and came to the U.S. as a young boy who immediately started his own businesses. Among many businesses he owned before relocating to Florida was a car dealership in Boston.
As a car dealer, he encountered firsthand the inefficiencies and unnecessary costs and risks involved in automotive auctions and determined to address the problems with his keen intellect and talent for innovation and enterprise, which resulted in his launching his revolutionary ADX365 APP.
"We think of him as the automotive industry's Mark Zuckerberg as his APP will truly disrupt for the better how industry auctions are conducted," said Madden.
TransMedia Group is a full-service PR firm serving clients worldwide since 1981.
