Cow Girl Up for Jaci
Twin With Rare Form Of ALS
NEW YORK, April 18, 2019 /PRNewswire/ -- Jaci Hermstad a 25 year old cowgirl from Spencer Iowa. Jaci has a rare form of childhood onset ALS called FUS P525L, that is raging in her like a wildfire.
ALS is one of the worst diseases in the world and FUS P525L is one of the most severe, aggressive forms of ALS. Jaci does not need her doctors to tell her how bad it is, because her identical twin sister was stricken with the same disease and she watched her die, at age 17.
Researchers are working on a ground breaking experimental drug called 'ASO' that could save her life. The procedure is being designed especially for her. It is a new procedure that will be considered for 'compassionate use.' But the process is expensive - Jaci is trying to raise the funds to give her a chance to be part of this treatment, so she has set up a GoFundMe Campaign to raise the funds. She wants to have the chance to LIVE.
WHERE THE MONEY IS GOING
All funds raised on Jaci's campaign will be transferred directly to the manufacturing of the Experimental drug called 'ASO' that could save her life.
