Cox Launches 50/5 Internet Speeds in Connecticut with DOCSIS 3.0

MANCHESTER, Conn., Aug. 12 /PRNewswire/ -- Cox Communications announced the launch of Cox Ultimate Internet to residential and business customers in Connecticut, powered by DOCSIS 3.0 technology. The Ultimate Tier allows for download speeds of 50 Mbps and upload speeds of 5 Mbps (up to 55/5 with PowerBoost™). The download speed is the fastest available in the area, which considerably improves online gaming and streaming video experiences, among others.
