Creatures Of The Wind And Tracy Reese Announced As Featured Designers For The 10th Annual Baker Motor Company Charleston Fashion Week®
CHARLESTON, S.C., Dec. 10, 2015 /PRNewswire/ -- Baker Motor Company Charleston Fashion Week® (CFW), one of the nation's leading fashion events, today announced that tickets for the March 15-19, 2016 event are now on sale, and that high-profile fashion designers Creatures of the Wind and Tracy Reese will be the event's closing weekend Featured Designers.
"We are so excited to have Creatures of the Wind and Tracy Reese participate in CFW 2016. Coupled with the previously announced CADET and a yet-to-be announced Belk designer, this all-star Featured Designer line-up is one of our best to date, and a perfect tribute to the 10th anniversary of this iconic event," said Naomi Russell, executive director of CFW.
Creatures of the Wind was founded in 2008 by Shane Gabier and Christopher Peters, both graduates of the School of the Art Institute of Chicago, Department of Fashion Design. The collection is driven by concept and narrative: inspiration is drawn from subcultures, mythical themes and youth culture. Creatures of the Wind has received critical acclaim from international press and media; the collection has been featured in Vogue, Vogue UK., Elle, Harper's Bazaar and WWD Collections among others. In 2013, Creatures of the Wind was named one of Women's Wear Daily's "Top Ten New American Fashion Brands to Watch." In 2014, they won the CFDA Swarovski Award for Womenswear. Creatures of the Wind will be featured on Friday, March 18, 2016.
