DAVID CROSBY AND GRAHAM NASH TO APPEAR ON LATE NIGHT WITH JIMMY FALLON ON MAY 25 AND AT WAVY GRAVY'S SEVA BENEFIT AT THE BEACON THEATER IN NYC ON MAY 27

LOS ANGELES, May 20, 2011 /PRNewswire/ -- The May 22 Crosby-Nash concert at the Palace Theatre in Stamford, CT will be filmed in high-definition and broadcast live on HDNet (hd.net) at 7:30PM ET, with an encore performance later that evening.  The show comes at the end of a spring tour of the U.S. that singer-songwriters David Crosby and Graham Nash kicked off in late March.  

The Crosby-Nash: In Concert event marks the first in what will be a series of live concert broadcasts that the Dallas-based HDNet is planning to expand on its popular Sunday night concert programming. Later that week, Crosby and Nash will appear as musical guests on Late Night With Jimmy Fallon on May 25.  

On Friday, May 27 Crosby-Nash will join Jackson Browne, Steve Earle, Dr. John, Ani DiFranco and more for Wavy Gravy's 75th Birthday. The show will take place at the Beacon Theater in New York and will benefit the Seva Foundation. Seva Foundation works in the poorest corners of the globe providing financial resources and technical expertise that help communities build sustainable solutions to poverty and disease. With an emphasis on curable and preventable blindness, Seva-supported programs have restored sight to more than 3 million people in Asia and Africa.

David Crosby and Graham Nash have been harmonizing ever since Crosby, Stills & Nash formed in 1968, and have recorded and toured as a duo for almost as long.  Coinciding with the start of the spring U.S. tour, Crosby and Nash also  launched their new independent label, Blue Castle Records, with digital and vinyl versions of the live album Another Stoney Evening, an acoustic show recorded on October 10, 1971 at the Dorothy Chandler Pavilion in Los Angeles.

Another Stoney Evening captures one of Crosby and Nash's very first concert performances as a twosome, and spotlights their legendary harmonies as well as between-song banter.  The song selection includes "Deja Vu," "Wooden Ships," "Southbound Train," "Immigration Man," "Guinevere," and "Teach Your Children," all of which make the set list on the current 2011 Crosby-Nash tour.

Crosby and Nash are accompanied on the road by an ace-backing band featuring Crosby's son James Raymond (keyboards), Dean Parks (guitar), Kevin McCormick (bass), and Steve DiStanislao (drums).  The tour will mix acoustic and plugged-in performances, and will continue on with a European leg this fall.

Prior to the Crosby-Nash European tour, David Crosby and Graham Nash will perform two Crosby, Stills, & Nash dates with Stephen Stills (who is touring next month with Buffalo Springfield), at the Beacon Theatre in New York City on August 30 & 31.

David Crosby and Graham Nash have each been inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame twice—once with Crosby, Stills & Nash/Crosby, Stills, Nash & Young, and a second time with the Byrds and the Hollies, respectively.  They have also bee inducted into the Songwriters Hall of Fame. In addition to Another Stoney Evening, they have also released as a duo the studio albums Crosby & Nash (1972), Wind OnThe Water (1975), Whistling Down The Wire (1976), Crosby-Nash (2004), and Highlights (2006).
