Dafeng Creates Two Guinness World Records

DAFENG, China, July 5, 2018 /PRNewswire/ -- On June 30, the Guinness World Records Awarding Ceremony of the Dream Maze and the Opening Ceremony of the first "Dream Maze" Cup Table Tennis Invitational Tournament of Jiangsu Table Tennis Association were held in the Dream Maze Fountain Plaza in Dafeng District, according to the Publicity Department of Dafeng District Committee of CPC. Over 20 news media participated in the ceremony. At the awarding ceremony, Ms. Luo Qiong, the Guinness certification officer, read the certification process and announced that the Dream Maze broke the Guinness World Records of "the world's largest permanent hedge maze" and "the largest permanent hedge maze path network". On June 12, the Guinness World Records official institution commissioned a third-party professional surveying and mapping company to conduct on-site mapping of the permanent hedge maze area of the Dream Maze under the joint supervision of some independent witnesses. The results showed that the area of the Dream Maze was 35,596.74 square meters, and the total length of the route was 9,547.36 meters. Dream Maze - plant maze successfully obtained to apply for the qualifications of two Guinness World Records titles, "the world's largest permanent hedge maze" and "the largest permanent hedge maze path network".
