SOUTH AMBOY, N.J., June 7 /PRNewswire/ -- DCH Auto Group today announces the promotion of George Liang to President of DCH Auto Operations.  Current President Susan Scarola will assume new responsibilities as Vice Chairman of the company, assisting DCH Auto Group Chairman Shau-wai Lam with the strategic direction of the company and making sure the company's interests are represented in public forums.

As President of DCH Auto Operations, Liang will oversee all auto operations. His vision for this role is to expand upon the foundation established by his predecessors, Shau-wai Lam and Susan Scarola, and to continue to instill The DCH Way of doing business until it becomes the standard for excellence in automotive retailing.

Liang comes to his new role fully prepared.  He joined DCH in 1988 after serving as Vice President of Banque National de Paris in Hong Kong for 11 years.  He familiarized himself with the auto industry at the company's DCH Freehold Toyota dealership in Freehold, NJ, steadily taking on greater responsibilities.  In 1993, he became regional manager of DCH's Ventura County, CA dealerships, and then assumed responsibility for all DCH's California dealerships in 2001.  In 2004, he returned to the east coast and became Senior Vice President and Chief Operating Officer of DCH's Eastern Region until this promotion.
