Dice Holdings' WorkDigital Wins Technical Innovation Award at 2014 Onrec Awards

NEW YORK and LONDON, April 1, 2014 /PRNewswire/ -- Dice Holdings, Inc. (NYSE: DHX) announced today that WorkDigital won the Technical Innovation Award at the 2014 Onrec Awards, which are designed to recognize and reward innovation and achievement in the online recruitment industry.

The honor, in the generalist category, recognized FreshUp™, a cloud-based service that updates resumes and customer records based on the latest social information, which allows hiring managers and marketers to augment and bring current their ATS and CRM databases.

"FreshUp simply allows companies to get more from their past investments by making obsolete information and data useful again," said Howard Lee, co-founder and CEO of WorkDigital.  "This is great recognition for our team's efforts and is just one of the ways we work to deliver talent more efficiently to employers."

FreshUp is based on the same technology used in Dice's Open Web™, a recruiting tool that consolidates valuable, public information about technology candidates in one place. Employers get unique profiles with real depth allowing both an understanding of the candidates' qualifications and how to approach tech professionals on a more personal, direct level making recruiting more efficient.

WorkDigital was officially recognized for its award at the 10th annual Onrec Awards 2014, held at The Grange, St. Paul's Hotel in London.
