Drinking With the Stars

NEW YORK, March 14, 2012 /PRNewswire/ -- Celebrity Wine of The Month Club, WinesByWives.com, is excited to announce an online platform where celebrity wives will recommend their monthly selections of wine. Wines By Wives will launch in the spring of 2012 with the company's co-founders and Real Housewives of Orange County, Tamra Barney and Vicki Gunvalson.

Each month, members will receive two bottles of wine curated by a featured celebrity of choice. In addition to receiving their quality choice of wines, members will be able to receive insider access to special events, discounted celebrity themed merchandise, and special offers on wines from around the world. Not only will members be receiving their favorite celebrity's wine of that month, but they will be contributing to the charity of the celebrity's choice. "The charity component is a great aspect about this club," explains Tamra Barney. "It allows me to both bring awareness to and support my charity."

Wine by Wives was founded by Tamra Barney and Vicki Gunvalson along with Internet entrepreneur Christopher Gravagna. "The Internet has enabled us to get a close-up look at the everyday lives of our favorite celebrities. What better way to get to know them than to join them in a glass of their favorite wine?" Christopher Gravagna says. "There are a variety of wine of the month clubs available, but we believe that the concept of ordering your favorite celebrities' wine will be attractive to consumers." Without even an official announcement, the website already has close to 4,000 pre-registrants as well as a steady increase in Facebook likes on the fan page and Twitter followers. Gravagna also exclaims, "If our social media is any indication of how we may do once we officially launch, this wine club is going to be a successful venture."

Memberships cost $29.95 plus shipping. Members must be 21 years of age or older.
