Echoing Businessman's Book, Donald Trump Says Government Regulation Robbing Taxpayers To Tune Of Two Trillion Dollars Per Year
NEW YORK, Aug. 3, 2016 /PRNewswire/ -- During his national acceptance speech on July 21, Republican Presidential nominee Donald Trump said that "the greatest job killer of them all is government regulation to the tune of two trillion dollars per year." Mr. Trump alluded to a newly-published book by a successful entrepreneur, Walter Raquet, titled, "Government is Killing the Economy."
In his book, Mr. Raquet says: "Over-regulation and waste are crippling American business, causing the middle class to stagnate and young people to lose hope. The American Dream is fading."
The book offers common sense thoughts, distilled from a 50-year career, on a cure for the tremendous negative economic impact of regulation and government mismanagement on the U.S. economy. The three biggest problems Raquet sees are: Over-regulation, uncontrolled and unexamined government waste and public and private fraud. All of this has resulted in the middle class not getting any wage increases for more than 15 years.
