"The latest update of Elcomsoft Phone Breaker offers forensic experts the ability to acquire calls from the cloud just minutes after they've been placed or received", says Vladimir Katalov, ElcomSoft CEO. "More and more data is saved into the cloud, with little to no control left to the end user. This allowed us to build a great acquisition tool capable of near real-time access to calls being made with iOS devices."
Automatic iPhone call upload is available in iOS 9 and 10 with no user-accessible option to enable or disable syncing.
Elcomsoft Phone Breaker 6.20
The updated Elcomsoft Phone Breaker brings synced call logs before the eyes of the law enforcement, enabling forensic access to the user's calls. Synced contacts are also downloaded. Downloading call logs and contacts requires signing in to the user's Apple account using their Apple ID and password or iCloud authentication token extracted from the user's Mac or PC.
Elcomsoft Phone Viewer is also updated to support viewing additional information extracted from Apple cloud servers. Synced call logs and contacts can be viewed right next to call logs and contacts extracted from system backups.
