Enterprise Risk Conference Donates $30,000 to Local Charities
SEATTLE, Oct. 28, 2014 /PRNewswire/ -- The Pacific Northwest Enterprise Risk Forum (ERF) will host their fifth annual summit for audit, finance and risk professionals from 8 a.m. to 7 p.m. on Thursday, November 6 at the Seattle Westin. As a 5th year celebration, the conference will provide $30,000 to keynote speakers to present to charitable organizations. Child Haven, Northwest Center and the Alaska Airlines Employee Assistance Fund have been selected. Keynote speakers include Scott Di Valerio, CEO of Outerwall Inc., Bradley Tilden, CEO of Alaska Airlines and Robin Krueger, CFO of Northwest Center.
The event is designed to provide non-traditional learning sessions, roundtable discussions, and networking opportunities for those in the governance, risk and compliance industry. Throughout the forum, participants can attend sessions facilitated by executives from around the Pacific Northwest, including Microsoft, Nordstrom, and IBM. Topics will include creating formal risk policies, integrating fraud mitigation strategies, and addressing cyber security. Networking breaks held sporadically during the day will foster the exchange of insights and perspectives on the role of collaboration in risk management among attendees. By the end of the day, everyone will leave with a better understanding of how to address risk in their respective organizations through connections and global resources.
