EY Names Skytap Chief Executive Officer Thor Culverhouse EY Entrepreneur Of The Year® 2016 Finalist in the Pacific Northwest

SEATTLE, May 5, 2016 /PRNewswire/ -- Skytap, Inc., the innovator in cloud services for application modernization, today announced that CEO Thor Culverhouse is a finalist for the EY Entrepreneur Of The Year® 2016 Award in the Pacific Northwest. Now in its thirtieth year, the EY Entrepreneur Of The Year celebrates entrepreneurs who demonstrate excellence and extraordinary success in such areas as innovation, financial performance and personal commitment to their businesses and communities. Culverhouse was selected as a finalist by a panel of independent judges.

Culverhouse arrived at Skytap in late 2013, and has doubled its revenue each year, while also expanding the company. Since the beginning of 2015 the employee count has risen to nearly 200. Geographic expansion also occurred after Culverhouse was appointed CEO. In 2015, a new office was opened in London – then, in early 2016 a new cloud datacenter opened in Toronto, Canada – Skytap's seventh datacenter, following the 2015 addition of datacenters in Sydney, Australia (AUS-Sydney), Dallas, Texas (US-Central), and London, England (EMEA-UK).
