
HAMILTON, N.J., Sept. 18, 2013 /PRNewswire/ -- The Board of Directors of First Choice Bank announced today that Nicholas A. Frungillo, Jr. has been named Interim President of the bank effective immediately. Mr. Frungillo joined First Choice Bank in 2006 as Executive Vice President and Chief Financial Officer. He has over 30 years of extensive experience in all financial and operational disciplines of banking including strategic planning. Mr. Frungillo joined the company from The Town Bank in Westfield, N.J., where he served as a director, executive vice president, chief operating officer and chief financial officer. A graduate of Rutgers University, Mr. Frungillo is a certified public accountant who resides in Mountainside, N.J., with his wife and two children. He will be working closely with the Board to strategically continue to move the bank forward.
Mr. Frungillo replaces former President/CEO, Randy Hanks whose last day with the bank was Friday September 13, 2013. First Choice Bank opened its first branch in Lawrenceville in 2007, the first community bank to open in the area in 40 years. Since then, the bank has grown steadily, opening four additional branches in Mercer County and most recently a sixth location in Kingston, NJ. In 2009, First Choice Bank established First Choice Loan Services Inc. mortgage services division as a wholly owned subsidiary allowing the bank to offer customers highly competitive loan rates.
