This is an unexpected move in the jewelry industry due to the traditional surge of holiday shopping traffic.

Although remaining closed on Thanksgiving Day could put Rogers & Hollands at a competitive disadvantage on one of the year's busiest shopping days, Rogers & Hollands' family-centric foundation makes the annual decision to allow its associates to be home celebrating with their families an easy one.

Upon reopening on Friday, Rogers & Hollands retail outlets will feature Black Friday sales and shopping incentives, including a "Holiday Dough" promotion which allows customers to earn $100 in store credit for every $300 spent in-store and online.
