Fraser Bullock Elected Chairman of the Board of Health Catalyst

SALT LAKE CITY, June 19, 2014 /PRNewswire/ -- Health Catalyst today announced that Fraser Bullock has been elected Chairman of the Board of Directors for the company effective as of its most recent board meeting in May.  Bullock is succeeding David A. Burton, MD, 70, who is retiring from the board after serving as board chairman since November 2012, and as a member of the board since September 2011.  Dr. Burton will continue to serve as a Senior Vice President at Health Catalyst, contributing to research and development associated with its clinical and accountable care products.

Bullock, 59, has served as a board observer of Health Catalyst since 2012.  He is co-founder and a managing director of Sorenson Capital, a Salt Lake City-based private equity firm. Bullock was an original partner of Bain Capital from 1984 to 1986 and prior to that worked as a manager at Bain & Company. He also was COO and CFO of the Salt Lake Organizing Committee for the Olympic Winter Games of 2002, widely recognized as one of the most successful and best-operated Olympics in history. 

Bullock is recognized for his knowledge of Health Catalyst and his extensive experience in guiding the growth and development of technology companies as well as his expertise in operational, financial, and strategic planning matters.
