G2A.COM has announced the opening of communication on its social media channels to hear directly from e-sports fans the world over concerning the recent annulment of G2A's official sponsorship for League Championship Series (LCS) teams.

Despite G2A's suspension of account selling and Elo Boosting of Accounts, negotiations with Riot Games failed to come to a resolution and discussions culminated in an e-mail from the Riot Developer Relations Manager in the United States confirming their revoked approval of G2A's sponsor status. G2A were asked by Riot to remove helpful tools for players such as game guides which G2A believes empower the e-sports industry. The e-mail from Riot, received Friday the 18th of September 2015 at 6.31pm CEST, reads, in part: "I can find no other option than to officially instruct our League Operations team to revoke G2A's approval as an official sponsor for LCS teams." It goes on to confirm: "This decision, however, is final as regards G2A visual sponsorship at Worlds 2015."
Investing over $6 million in e-sport sponsorship since 2014, G2A remains committed to working with partners to empower the e-sport industry and resolve to reach win-win solutions for all interested and invested parties.
