Gary Gunter Named Vice President and General Manager of the St. Louis, Missouri Market
WASHINGTON, March 17, 2014 /PRNewswire/ -- Radio One, Inc. (NASDAQ: ROIAK and ROIA) announced that Gary Gunter has been named Vice President and General Manager of its St. Louis radio stations.
Gary re-joins the Radio One Family on March 17, 2014 as Vice President and General Manager of St. Louis. He is a 25-year veteran of radio sales/marketing and has received numerous awards. Gary formerly held several positions with the company. From 2011 to 2013, he was General Sales Manager in the Baltimore Market. In this position, he was responsible for maintaining and growing the company's revenue and revenue share within the marketplace. And, from 2006 to 2008, he served as General Sales Manager for our stations in Detroit.
In 2013, Gary left Radio One to become manager of Martz Communications Group's stations in Pittsburg. He was responsible for developing and growing the station's brand, revenue and audience share by creating and implementing strategic and tactical direction. His professional career includes other management positions at GEE Media, Clear Channel in Chicago and Cox Communications in Orlando, Florida.
