Good Start Genetics Announces Addition to its Executive Team in Preparation for Expansion into Broader Markets

CAMBRIDGE, Mass., Aug. 16, 2016 /PRNewswire/ -- Good Start Genetics, Inc., a family genetics information solutions company, announced today the appointment of James (Jim) Frontero to the position of Chief Commercial Officer.  In this newly created role, Mr. Frontero will be responsible for leading all of the company's commercial activities as the company expands its commercial footprint to encompass genetic offerings from preconception through early childhood.

Mr. Frontero has over 25 years of experience developing sales and commercial operations in medical and consumer brand companies.  Mr. Frontero's most recent commercial leadership role was as Senior Vice President of Sales and Commercial Operations at Devicor Medical Products where he was responsible for all commercial activities. Prior to Devicor, Mr. Frontero was President of Straumann USA.  During his tenure as commercial leader, Straumann experienced twenty-two consecutive quarters exceeding its sales targets.  Prior to Straumann, Mr. Frontero had numerous sales and sales leadership roles within Boston Scientific.  Mr. Frontero earned his MBA from Boston University and his BS in Business Administration and Management from Cornell University.
