Governor Rendell Orders Flags to Fly at Half-Staff in Honor of Former Revenue Secretary Vincent X. Yakowicz

HARRISBURG, Pa., May 21 /PRNewswire-USNewswire/ -- Governor Edward G. Rendell today ordered state flags in the Capitol Complex to be flown at half-staff on Monday, May 24, in honor of Vincent X. Yakowicz.

Yakowicz, 77, of New Cumberland, died May 17. During his 28 years of service to the commonwealth, he held the cabinet positions of Secretary of Revenue, as well as Pennsylvania Solicitor General.

Flags will remain at half staff through sunset.
