Granahan Launches Micro-Cap Commingled Fund

WALTHAM, Mass., June 2, 2011 /PRNewswire/ -- Granahan Investment Management has launched a commingled fund to mirror the firm's domestic micro-cap growth equity product, Small Cap Discoveries. The Small Cap Discoveries product is the underlying investment for Vanguard's U.S. Discoveries Fund marketed to European investors. This fund recently won the 2011 Lipper Award in France, Germany and in Europe overall for the best fund over 3 years, "Equity North American Small and Mid Caps."

The product that produced the strong returns for the award winning fund is now available to U.S. investors through Granahan Investment Management's Small Cap Discoveries product.  The commingled fund will be sold to smaller institutions and qualified individuals.  The product is also available as a separate account with a higher minimum investment.
