Guardant Health and Flatiron Health to Develop Innovative Data Platform to Advance Precision Medicine for Cancer and Enhance Patient Care

REDWOOD CITY, Calif. and NEW YORK, Aug. 19, 2015 /PRNewswire/ -- Guardant Health and Flatiron Health today announced a strategic collaboration to build a proprietary, cloud-based information platform integrating liquid biopsy-based genomic testing with clinical treatment and outcomes data to support the accelerated development of targeted therapies for cancer.

The collaboration combines advanced clinical insights from the FlatironHealthOncologyCloud^TM platform with genomic data from Guardant Health's Guardant360^® liquid biopsy platform. The new platform will enable life science companies to uncover new molecular targets, expand clinical indications, reduce the time to recruit and select patients for trials, and longitudinally follow patients and their progress over time.
