Harris myCFO™ Appoints John Benevides to Executive Leadership Position

CHICAGO, Sept. 20 /PRNewswire-FirstCall/ -- Harris myCFO™ today announced the appointment of John Benevides as President, Family Office Services.  He will be based in the company's Chicago corporate headquarters, and is responsible for overseeing the comprehensive suite of family office services offered by Harris myCFO™.

Benevides will provide vision, as well as strategic and operational leadership for the firm's Family Office Services Team.  He will also be responsible for developing and marketing new, multi-family office service offerings targeted to meet the sophisticated financial needs of ultra-affluent families and individuals that Harris myCFO™ serves.  The firm is already recognized for offering one of the country's most comprehensive suites of services tailored to this market segment.

Benevides has had a distinguished career in the financial services industry, most recently in the role of President of the Family Office Exchange (FOX).  The organization serves over 350 families, each with an average of $300 million in investable wealth; and 150 multi-family offices and advisors.  

Prior to this, he served as Managing Director of Financial Services for the Corporate Executive Board, contributing directly to the company's growth from a boutique of 100 staff to a 2,500 person multi-national publicly listed company with over $500 million in annual revenue.  

Benevides received his undergraduate degree in Psychology and Economics from the University of Maryland.  He was the distinguished graduate in finance and economics at Johns Hopkins University where he earned an M.S. in Finance and an MBA.

Benevides currently serves as the Chairman of the Executive Committee for the 1,200+ member Family Business Network of the Young Presidents Organization (YPO/WPO).
