PHILADELPHIA, July 26, 2012 /PRNewswire/ -- Healthcare Providers Insurance Exchange and Entegration Incorporated announced a partnership to provide HIPAA Security Risk Assessments to HPIX clients at no cost.  Under HIPAA Security Rule (45 CFR Section 164.308(a)(1)), medical providers are required by law to conduct an assessment of the potential risks to electronic protected health information.

The HIPAA Security Risk Assessment is a key component of Entegration's innovative HIPAA Secure Now! service. The assessment provides a comprehensive administrative, physical and technical evaluation of a medical practice's compliance with HIPAA Security Regulations.
