Holiday Gift Exchanges Go High Tech with Introduction of Elfster En Espanol "Amigo Secreto"

SAN FRANCISCO, Dec. 5, 2011 /PRNewswire/ -- Just in time for the holidays, Elfster.com, a free online Secret Santa organizer and social networking platform, is introducing a Spanish-language version of Secret Santa, Amigo Secreto.

One of the most popular and innovative gift-giving sites since 2003, Elfster takes the stress out of holiday gift exchanging by allowing users to list their personal wish lists to share with family and friends.  The site is the perfect solution of home and office gift exchanges, including Secret Santa or Amigo Secreto for Elfster En Espanol.

"We designed Elfster to take the stress and mystery out of holiday gift-giving and make it fun and exciting in a high tech way," said  Peter Imburg, CEO at Elfster.com. "The site has gained such a huge following in Spanish-speaking countries that it only made sense to produce a Spanish-language website and Facebook version."

Elfster is also available for shoppers on the go with new applications available for iPhone and Android smartphones (currently available only in English).

With Elfster, users can easily create their special gift wish lists, and exchange lists with friends all from the convenience of their computer or smartphone.  It not only takes the mystery out of gift buying, but means users can give the gifts that friends really want, and receive the gifts they wished for, too.

Making the right choices is the key to successful gift giving. Stuck on what to get your Amigo Secreto office mate or the distant cousin you drew in the family gift exchange? Elfster users can tap into their friends' wishlist and see what they really what and even ask a secret question to get important details like size and color. Elfster also tracks what gifts have already been snapped up from the wishlist, so you don't have to worry about giving the same thing twice.

Facebook friends will now find Elfster to be the answer to their entire holiday gift giving needs.  With no second login required, users can browse and recommend the full line of Elfster gifts so they know exactly what to tuck under the trees this year.
