Hoteles City Express Announces the Opening of 5 Hotels Reaching 135 Hoteles in Operation

MEXICO CITY, Dec. 15, 2017 /PRNewswire/ -- Hoteles City Express S.A.B. de C.V. ("Hoteles City Express" or "The Company") (BMV: HCITY) announces the opening of 5 hotels – 2 of them today and 3 more within the next two weeks - of its 2017 Development Pipeline, reaching 135 hotels in operation and more than 15,200 rooms installed before year end.

The two hotels that the Company opened today are: City Express Junior León Centro de Convenciones and City Express Tijuana Otay, meanwhile the hotels City Centro Oaxaca, City Express Monterrey Lindavista and City Express Plus León Centro de Convenciones will be receiving their first guests on December 22 and 28 of the present year.

With these openings, The Company adds 13 units of the 18 programmed to start operations in 2017 and first quarter of 2018 according to the Pipeline announced in February of 2017. As such, the Company expects to conclude its Development Pipeline 2017 with the opening of 5 more hotels in the first weeks of 2018.
