Humorous Indie Novel Embraces Libertarian Seasteading
Floating City for the Masses forms the Backdrop for Coming-of-Age story.
PORTLAND, Ore., April 6, 2015 /PRNewswire/ -- Liberstead Publishing has launched the Indie novel Liberty Awash by author JW Bruns. This near-future story takes place in the year 2025, in the floating city called Liberstead. Protagonist Rudi Wu, a recent college graduate with a degree in Analytics, takes a position in a city based on the political ideal of having the smallest government possible. The city lives by the Ten Twemes and governs using a town meeting called a LiberShare. The result is a hilarious account of daily life in a city that values drugs, guns and multiple wives, but declines ID cards, currency and voting.

Each community in the city has a flag. The Tocqueville flag uses the motto Veni, Vidi, 420; I came, I saw, I toked.
