DALLAS, July 19, 2018 /PRNewswire/ -- As SpaceX's third Hyperloop Pod Competition gets underway this weekend, Jacobs Engineering Group Inc. (NYSE:JEC) is at the forefront of this revolutionary transit, sponsoring the Delft University of Technology Hyperloop team's Atlas01 vehicle.

Using near-vacuum tubes, Hyperloop vehicles are envisioned to safely carry people or cargo at speeds up to 700-miles-per-hour, while being more energy efficient, environmentally friendly, sustainable and more convenient than air travel. In addition to joining the sponsors of the
