LAS VEGAS, March 23, 2015 /PRNewswire/ -- Guests at Paris Las Vegas were hearing jackpot sirens of a new variety this weekend when a lucky player won a $1 million jackpot on global gaming entertainment leader IGT's (NYSE: IGT) inter-state commercial jackpot product, Powerbucks. With this pivotal payout, Powerbucks joins IGT's list of millionaire-minting game themes including Wheel of Fortune® and Megabucks. The winner, who asked to remain anonymous, was playing the Powerbucks-linked version of IGT's Ghostbusters™ Who Ya Gonna Call? with just a $1.50 wager when he was alerted of the colossal win.

"It's extremely exciting to see IGT's Powerbucks deliver a life-changing jackpot and join the ranks of other IGT millionaire-making themes," said Joe Sigrist, IGT VP of Global Product Development and Operations. "The fact that this winner won a million dollars on a $1.50 wager is a testament to the Powerbucks promise that players can win big at any bet level. Nobody pays jackpots like IGT."

IGT's Powerbucks is currently linked to casinos in Nevada, New Jersey and Deadwood, South Dakota.

Millionaire-making is central to both IGT and Paris Las Vegas' parent company, Caesars Entertainment's DNA. IGT has created more than 1,500 millionaires, totaling more than $6 billion in jackpot payouts. Caesars Entertainment also enjoys an exceptional reputation for awarding jackpots through the company's Millionaire Maker powered by Total Rewards program.
