Indianapolis Moving Company Supports Community Voting System in West Africa

INDIANAPOLIS, Jan. 25 /PRNewswire/ --Indianapolis Moving Company, All My Sons Moving and Storage assisted Hendricks County in delivering 275 voting machines to the Benin Republic in West Africa this past fall.  Hendricks County Clerk, Cindy Spence, and Election Supervisor, Laura Herzog coordinated with Ball State University on the project destined to develop a new voting system in Benin. "We were elated to participate in such a significant move," stated Chris Lambert, President of the Indianapolis Moving Company.

Indianapolis movers, Kenny Woodson and Keith Galliard were proud to be a part of the project that will update the Benin's antiquated system of paper ballot voting with the Micro Vote 464 machines. "Bringing change to a community is monumental.  It's not everyday you get the opportunity to do something like this," shared Lambert. The project was made possible by the Center of Integrity, Empowerment and Fairness Inc(CIEF).  CIEF is a non-profit organization which focuses on four critical sectors:  land, financial services, justice and markets because of Benin's effort of democratization.
