Kit served on the Lorillard, Inc., board of directors from the time it went public through the sale to Reynold's American, Inc., in 2015, during which time the company experienced tremendous growth, increasing enterprise value from $9 billion to $27.3 billion in 7 years. He has also served as the Senior Vice President of Willard Bishop Consulting, Barrington, Il., Chairman of Tripifoods, Inc., Buffalo, NY, President of Spartan Stores, Inc., (Grand Rapids, MI) Convenience Division, operating L&L Jiroch Distributing Company, Inc., United Wholesale Grocery Company, Inc. and J.F. Walker Company, Inc. Mr. Dietz spent the first 14 years of his professional career as an independent grocer in Vermilion and Elyria, OH.
