Institute Hires Christopher Cathey as Senior Trading Mentor

The Institute of Trading and Portfolio Management announced today a significant addition to their global trading operation. Ex-Goldman Sachs and Merrill Lynch trader, Christopher Cathey, will join the Institute of Trading and Portfolio Management from November 2013, as a Senior Trading Mentor.

Christopher Cathey enjoyed a successful 15-year career as a Professional Trader. After completing a first-class degree in Natural Sciences and obtaining his PhD in Chemistry from Fitzwilliam College Cambridge, Chris was hired by Goldman Sachs. Chris worked for Goldman Sachs as an Equities Trader in Frankfurt, New York and London between 1993 and 2006. He then worked as a proprietary trader at Merrill Lynch Strategic Investments Group between 2006 and 2008, before retiring. 

Chris now joins The Institute of Trading and Portfolio Management (http://www.instutrade.com) as a Senior Trading Mentor. Chris' role at the Institute will involve mentoring Institute Traders on the official Institute Mentoring Programme after students have graduated from completing the Professional Trading Masterclass (PTM) Video Series. Chris will be helping Institute Traders to realise their objectives in becoming consistently profitable long-term and to help build their track records.
