CHICAGO, Oct. 19, 2012 /PRNewswire/ -- Helmut Jahn received the Lynn S. Beedle Lifetime Achievement Award from the Council on Tall Buildings and Urban Habitat (CTBUH) on Thursday, Oct. 18. The award recognizes an individual's extraordinary contributions to the field and whose leadership has had significant effects beyond the professional community, to enhance cities and the lives of their inhabitants. Jahn will also be honored next Friday, Oct. 26 with the AIA Chicago Lifetime Achievement Award at the 57th annual AIA Design Excellence Awards.
