Jaspersoft Adds Big Data Support for EMC Greenplum HD

LAS VEGAS, May 10, 2011 /PRNewswire/ -- EMC WORLD, Booth #211 -- Jaspersoft, maker of the world's most widely used business intelligence (BI) software, today announced new open source connectors for EMC® Greenplum® HD, a product family for Apache Hadoop, expanding the company's wide variety of Big Data source support for Business Intelligence reporting. Jaspersoft's data agnostic connectors provide the widest range of native reporting for Big Data available, spanning Hadoop, NoSQL and MPP analytic databases.

Hadoop provides a set of tools for analyzing large data sets in an easier and more affordable way than traditional means.
