Jerrick Media Holdings, Inc., (OTCQB:JMDA) (the "Company" or "Jerrick Media") a digital media and technology company focused on the development and marketing of branded digital content and e-commerce properties, announced today the completion of beta testing for Forum, a revolutionary new Content Management Platform (CMP) designed to improve the user experience by creating an internalized social environment. Forum is being developed in collaboration with Thinkmill, an industry-leading web and mobile development team.
At the heart of Forum is a powerful interface that enables non-web designers to have the ability and access to create rich user experiences, including articles, videos, galleries, and libraries. E-commerce is deeply integrated in the framework of Forum, allowing for dynamically curated products related to the content. In the new social environment, content can take the form of multiple mediums, where commerce and content seamlessly integrate.
Jerrick Media began development of the Forum platform in the second half of 2015 to initially provide a simple solution to scale and manage multiple networks of multiple websites. The Company will migrate its six vertical properties to the new CMP during the second quarter, including Viva Today, GeekRoom, OMNI Reboot, iLongevity, Filthy Gorgeous Media, and The Corporate Culture. The Company plans to launch four new verticals on the platform in the coming quarters in subject areas including food, marijuana industry, military, and theatre. Jerrick Media also intends to expand the roadmap for Forum to eventually serve as platform alternative for other digital media companies to more effectively manage their digital content across a broad spectrum of web properties.
