Just In Time For The Holidays White Castle Unveils The Ultimate Gift To Satisfy Your Crave White Castle selling first-ever Crave Pallet of 6,912 Sliders!
COLUMBUS, Ohio, Oct. 17, 2012 /PRNewswire/ -- White Castle wants you to celebrate the holidays with a meal that's fit for a any gathering of more than 1,000 of your closest family and friends! For the first time ever, White Castle is offering a Crave Pallet of Sliders cooked by our team of chefs onsite and served fresh to your party guests.
Two Crave Pallets will be available and the lucky purchasers get 6,912 Sliders with choices of Original, Cheese and Jalapeno. In addition, the mood will be set for the event with 216 White Castle steam-grilled-on-a bed-of-onions Nest Fragrance candles that come with the pallet.
The Crave Pallet costs $25,000 with 100 percent of net proceeds benefitting autism research.
"We believe it's important to fund autism research because it touches so many children and families," said Jamie Richardson, vice president of White Castle. "Our team members raised more than a half million dollars this year through the Autism Speaks Puzzle Piece campaign. By offering two Crave Pallets, we hope to make another generous contribution to research for the causes, treatments and prevention of autism."
The Crave Pallet evolved from menu items feeding more than one person. White Castle offers the Sack of 10, the Crave Case with 30 Sliders and the Crave Crate with 100 Sliders. The natural progression was to offer Cravers an option that could feed an army, Richardson said.
"In these times of economic uncertainty, it's the ultimate hedge against inflation," said Richardson. "Almost certain to go up in value as time goes on."
White Castle isn't afraid to push the envelope with menu items. Offering the Crave Pallet is a natural fit for us; it's fun and lighthearted but it raises money for a bigger cause.
Cravers can order their White Castle Crave Pallet by calling our Ambassador Goodwill Hotline at 614-559-2687 during normal business hours.
